Caius is the main protagonist of Tales of the Tempest. He is a young devout boy who lives with his adoptive father in the village in the continent of Aleula. After he saves an injured knight, the knight gives him a mysterious crystal to thank him. This crystal however, caused a dangerous monster to attack the village. Caius and his father fight off this monster. Ironically, the villagers resented both Caius and his father because his father is a Lycanth. Caius and his father as well as his childhood friend Rubia, moved away from the village in search of a place they can call home.
