Kanono is a part of the Resistance Organization of the town of Ailily, a city that suffers from despotism. She is a very soft and bright person, but is very truthful and incredibly loyal to the Resistance. She is stricken with amnesia, and besides her own name, she cannot remember anything about herself, including her age. She travels with the main character, who she too believes is stricken with amneisa, and feels a certain sympathy for them, as they are in the same situation.
