Tales of Phantasia was the game that started it all on the Super Famicom. For its time, the game was amazing, featuring a real-time battle system, insanely detailed graphics, and being the only game on the Super Famicom to have a fully-voiced theme song. Later on, Phantasia was remade for the Playstation. This is often regarded as the best version of ToP. Later, Namco ported Phantasia to the GBA. It was supposed to be a mix of the Super Famicom and Playstation versions, but its clunky battle-system did not win it any awards. And now, the playstation version is being ported to the PSP under the title, Tales of Phantasia: Full-Voice Edition. This means that all the cutscenes in the game will have full voice acting. There was also a four episode anime series based on Tales of Phantasia.
Tales of Phantasia features the character designs of Kosuke Fujishima, known for his work and previous Tales games and for his anime, Ah! My Goddess.
